Founders’ Story
What began as shared classrooms and late-night conversations at college slowly grew into something neither of us expected—a shared conviction that counseling should feel more accessible, more human, and more within reach. Our journey began at college, where we trained in the same field and developed a deepening commitment to the work of counseling. After graduation, we each spent years in the field building hands-on experience, often contributing pro bono services with various organisations. In those early years of practice, we came face to face with the realities of entering the profession—and realised that many of our peers were navigating similar challenges. Alongside this, we began to notice a clear and consistent need in the community: accessible and affordable mental wellness support that does not compromise on quality or care. These shared experiences shaped our thinking and strengthened our sense of purpose. Over time, that awareness evolved into a shared vision—to build a counseling centre that is thoughtfully grounded and fully equipped, designed to make professional support more accessible. A space where care is both compassionate and clinically sound, and where people can feel met exactly where they are in their journey.

Life, to me, is a journey best experienced step by step, and I walk with you through change as you find clarity, strength, and direction along the way. When I’m not working, I’m usually on a hiking trail, in a swimming pool, or planning my next travel escape—with my three-legged dog.

After 20 years working with children, youth, and families, I’ve learned that every behaviour has a story—and I’m here for the one beneath it. Outside the room, I’m usually crafting, redoing a 1,000-piece puzzle I promise I’ll finish differently this time, or travelling to ‘re-sanitize’ my five senses.
